Blossom Spirits are another name for flower essence remedies. Based on the work of Dr. Edward Bach, who in the 1920’s and 1930’s, discovered the healing power of flowers. He found that by using the principle laws of Homeopathy, he realized flowers have an amazing power to help heal emotions!
Using a process called solarization, Dr. Bach and his assistant Nora Weeks would pick fresh blooms in the early morning and place them in a glass bowl of spring water. Then let these blossoms sit out in the sun for several hours. The essence or life force of these flowers was transferred to the water, and this was then the mother tincture which would be mixed with brandy (as a preservative) and bottled in a diluted state.
Dr. Bach tested every single flower on himself and noted what differences he felt in his own body. By the time he passed away in 1938, he had discovered the uses of 38 different flowers.

His Influence
Today his work is still carried on at his original country laboratory in England and flowers are still harvested from the same region as Dr. Bach and Nora Weeks picked their original flowers. Even though the production aspect was sold due to the high demand, all of the formulas are made in the same way.
The essences that I use today come from the United States and the work has expanded on what Dr. Bach discovered over 80 years ago, there are many more flowers to work with which gives me the ability to really fine tune a blend for someone. I am also able to make a broader spectrum blend to help more people, I think you will find one to suit your needs but if not, I am happy to do a custom blend for you.
